Interpol

Computech developed and implemented the Integrated Case Tracking System (ICTS) project for the International Police Organization’s National Central Bureau (INTERPOL/USNCB), a sophisticated system that allows non-technical end users to track international terrorist and criminal activities.

To create the ICTS, Computech conducted exhaustive surveys of the existing system, simultaneously working with the end users of the technology, before recommending a transition to a relational database, client/server environment. With so much at stake in this high-pressure environment — including the lives of agents — this critical new system had no room for error. Security, performance, and usability were crucial to the development of this system. Accordingly, application development accounted for strict user demands.
